We appear to have reached an impasse on this group. Our fearless leader, Irma, has not originated a post on Vox since November 2nd. The last communication I had with her was on November 9th. She also mentioned, in a communication dated October 31st, that perhaps she should look for volunteers to co-host. I might also mention, as I know I'm not the only one to whom this has happened, she may have experienced service issues which are not allowing her to access Vox properly (This is actually my second Vox blog, because of that issue.)

So, folks, what do we all wish to do? I truly enjoy this group., and would hate to see it atrophy for lack of posting. Should we:

1. Wait for Irma to come back, and discuss having co-hosts "just in case" if and when she does?

2. Rotate hosting duties as before, without contacting Irma to change the header, and wait for her to come back?

3. Start a new 5 word challenge now, and name a number of regulars, chosen by volunteering, to rotate or team watch over the site?

4. Or some other alternative which someone more clever than me can suggest?

I'm all ears.

thanks...i appreciate your mentioning this. while the headings are wondeful, they aren't absolutely essential in order for us to proceed. i vote for # 2 and would be able to volunteer for the word picking duties.

If there are co-hosts then people can take turns to do the headers and change the info for the 5 word challege. Or we can just have a general header up and just change the info, which would probably make the most sence. Isn't the person that chooses the 5 words for the week supose to choose who's up next?

Does that mean you want to put down the next 5 words Amanda?

I'm glad you posted this. I, too, would hate to see this group fizzle out. Although #3 has its appeal, it would be a shame to lose the archive of past posts and the continuity of the existing group. Perhaps we should go with #2 for a bit longer and have Irma, if she returns, add some co-hosts to prevent future problems of this nature.

i have no idea how to fiddle with headers. unless anyone has any objections, i'll put up new words, tomorrow.
